Massena man charged with looking for love in all the wrong places


PUBLIC LEWDNESS - MASSENA - A Massena man was released under the supervision of the probation department early Sunday morning after he was charged with public lewdness following an investigation into an incident that was reported to police at 4:25 a.m.

Village police charged Jamie T. Pollard, 28, of 90 East Hatfield St., Apt. 38, Massena, with public lewdness and trespassing at 12:20 a.m. Sunday. Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson also signed a temporary order of protection with the woman he alleged exposed himself to early Saturday morning.

Police said the woman reported she heard a noise at her window and went she went outside to investigate she discovered a male acquaintance standing her front yard. She told police the male asked her if she wanted to have an intimate relationship with him and when she rejected his advance he started running toward her.

The woman told police she raced back inside her residence and locked her door. Police said when the woman looked back outside Pollard was allegedly engaged in a solo sexual act.
