MASSENA: Lorraine A. Faucher, 86 of Madison Ave. passed away on Sept. 21,2013 at the St. Regis Nursing Home surrounded by loving family. Lorraine was born on November 1, 1926 in Louisville, NY the daughter of Albert and Pauline (Brennan) Smith. She married John P. Faucher on May 31, 1947 at St.Mary’s Church with Rev. Gilbert Faucher presiding. Mr. Faucher predeceased her on November 29, 2005. At one time Lorraine worked as a sales clerk at the Boston Store. Lorraine was an avid reader; she enjoyed doing needlepoint, bowling on a league and took much pride in taking care of her family and home. Her survivors include a daughter and two sons, Jane Frary of Waddington, James E. of Saranac Lake and John “Jack” P. and wife Susan of Raleigh, NC, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is the last of four siblings. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 from 2:00 until the time of service at 4:00 pm at Phillips Memorial Home, 64 Andrews St. Massena with Rev. Scott D. Fobare presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
