CHASE MILLS: Pearl E. Olmstead, 78 of County Route 14 Chase Mills, died Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family and hospice. A Celebration of Pearl’s life will be held on a later date. Burial will take place in the family plot in Greenveiw Cemetery, Chase Mills. Surviving Pearl is her three sons and daughter; Vickie and her husband Lyle Konkoski of Massena, Danny and wife Patricia of Chase Mills, George Jr. of Chase Mills, NY; Michael and wife Judy of Charleston, SC and ; seven grandchildren and seve great grandchildren. Pearl is also survived by her sister Edna Farmer of VA. and several nieces and nepews. Pearl was predeceased by three sisters, and four brothers, Isabelle, Vivian, Caroline, John, Joe, Donald and Howard. She was born March 16, 1935 in Massena the daughter of Alfred and Delina (Currier) Huto. She married George Olmstead on December 13, 1954 at St. John’s Episcopal Church. He died in September 19, 1989. Pearl was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting and loved to draw. Those who knew Pearl knew that she loved to visit and go to the casino.
