Constableville- Helen V. (Moshier) Williamson, 77, of West St., wife of Milton J. passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013, at Lewis Co. General Hospital, Lowville, while surrounded by the loving care of her husband and family.

A native of Lowville, she was the daughter of Leo and Florence Louise Wood Moshier. Helen grew up in Lyons Falls and received her education through 12th grade at Port Leyden Central School. She was employed as a chef at Hotel Parquet, Constableville and at Tow Path Inn in Turin

On January 2, 1954, Helen was united in marriage with Milton J. Williamson, at Pilgrim Holiness Church, Port Leyden. Milt and Helen lived on West Street in Constableville for their entire 59 years of married life.

In addition to her husband, Milton, Helen is survived by one son and daughter in law, David M. and Joan Williamson, Constableville; two daughters and sons in law, Darlene J. and Wayne Kirk, and Elaine M. and Alan Brown, all of Boonville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Leffingwell, Dayton, OH, three half brothers, five half sisters and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Tuesday 1-4 p.m. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. with a prayer service led by Rev. Linda Logan, pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church, Boonville, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. A luncheon will immediately follow the visitation and prayer service, at the Constableville Fire Hall. The Office for the Burial of the Dead with the Eucharist will be on Friday, October 4, at 1 P.M. at St. Paul’s Church, Constableville, with interment to follow in Constableville Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Constableville Fire Department Ambulance Fund.
