Mr. Richard F. Tuper, age 65 of West Stockholm, NY passed away on Monday, September 30th in the Emergency Room at the Canton Potsdam Hospital. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 5th at the Emmanuel Congregational Church at 2pm in Massena, NY with Rev. Judith VanKennen and Rev. Genevieve Dox celebrants. There will be a reception to follow at the Church. Burial will be at a later date at the West Stockholm Cemetery. Contribution in his memory can be made to the West Stockholm Volunteer Fire Department or to the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Richard is survived by his wife Linda Tuper; his son Matthew (Amber) Tuper; brother Donald Tuper; sisters Dorothy Tuper Gardner, Joann Tuper Cyr and Rose Tuper Baldwin. He is predeceased by his first wife Marie Russell Tuper; brothers Raymond, Arthur and James Tuper and a sister Gladys Tuper Coleman.

Mr. Richard F. Tuper was born April 8, 1948 in Potsdam, NY to the late Hubert and Ruth Foster Tuper. He was a 1967 graduate of Parishville Hopkinton School. He was married to Marie Russell. She died in 1971. He then was married to Linda Jean Price on October 27, 1972. Richard worked at Nekoosa Edwards Paper Mill as an electrician for many years until becoming disabled. He then worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
