Shutdown will lead to loss of employment

Here is what burns me about bipartisan politics.

Each is out to make a name for itself and try to leave a legacy.

This government shutdown is likely to happen because of ObabmaCare.

I could care less about ObamaCare.

This is a big chess match with Democrats pitted against Republicans.

No one will win.

However, the losers?

The losers will be the people.

My loss?

I’m a government worker.

If a shutdown occurs, I will be required to work with no guaranty of pay.

I will not be going to work if a shutdown occurs.

I will most likely lose my job.

First, I will use all my sick days and then any vacation days.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one in my area who feels this.

If my co-workers follow in my manner, who gets hurt then?

Military readiness will. I work in a place that medically prepares to deploy soldiers on Fort Drum.

I’m really sorry it has to come to this.

I was a soldier for 20 years.

In fact, it was my pride of being a soldier that led me to the job I have.

At some point, however, logic has to take over.

If I am not receiving a paycheck, I have to find something that will help meet my needs.

I have expenses and a family to support.

Since the government has no interest in my needs anymore or is even taking into account sacrifices I have made in my life, why should I even bother going to work?

My next deposit into my account maybe non-existent.

I don’t work for maybes and empty promises.

These guys need to get it together.
