OFA DOWNS SR
We basically started the game without our two setters. Taylor Perry came up with an arm problem which we had to take care of and Emma Hart couldnt start because she was sick yesterday and missed practice, said McLean who will have her team at home on Monday and Wednesday against Malone and Potsdam.
Different people filled in during that first game and helped us get turned around. We had to deal with Salmon Rivers strong serving.
After gaining control of the momentum, OFA sustained the flow with a season-best 94 percent serving accuracy, a decided hitting advantage at the net and the ability to win long volleys.
We played very scrappy tonight. On one play we had five girls were on the floor when Emma Hart knocked the ball over net with one arm, said McLean.
Hart (17 points, 7 aces, 7 digs, 2 kills, 4 aces), Taylor Fisher (14 points, 10 kills, 4 aces, 1 block) and Paige Perry (10 points, 3 aces, 3 kills, 1 dig) gave the Devils three double-figure scorers and Grace Mashaw (1 ace, 1 dig) added eight points.
