Lisbon, Hammond post NAC West Boys Shutouts; Morristown Boys, Hermon-DeKalb Girls prevail

Lisbon and Hammond recorded shutouts while Morristown secured a three goal margin win over Hermon-DeKalb 4-1 on Friday to stay one point back in Northern Athletic Conference West Division Boys Soccer race.

The Golden Knights (8-2-1, 7-1-1) remain tied for points with Division leader Harrisville (8-0-1, 7-0-1 NAC West), downing Heuvelton 1-0 while Hammond knocked off Clifton-Fine 3-0.

Meanwhile, Hermon-DeKalb overcame a 1-0 deficit against Morristown in NAC West Girls action in a 3-1 decision.

Cameron Hance converted a Patrick Woodrow pass in the 24th minute for the Demons (1-9-1, 1-7-1) but Fox connected from Kanaly again in the 33rd for a 3-1 Rocket lead at halftime.
