Fee Family says thank you

To The Editor:

The family of Kevin Fee would like to thank the community for continuing to honor our husband and father and his memory at the Fourth Annual Law Enforcement Softball Tournament. Heartfelt thanks to the organizers, players and volunteers who came out to participate on Aug. 17 at Cliff Montroy Park in Ogdensburg. The tournament raised just over $1,900 to benefit the memorial scholarships for Ogdensburg Police Sgt. Kevin Fee at the Ogdensburg Free Academy, and Trooper Shawn Snow at Hermon-DeKalb Central School.

Seven teams representing various law enforcement agencies in the north country participated. Thanks to the Kiwanis Club, which graciously volunteered to work the concession stand. A special thanks to Lisa Jenne, and Allen and Mary Rishe, who started the tournament in 2010 and whose hard work and commitment have made sure Kevin’s dedication in law enforcement lives on. Once again, thanks to all those who organized, participated and supported the Law Enforcement Softball Tournament.
