MAKING FALSE REPORT - MADRID - Massena-based state police charged James A. Miller, 16, of Waddington with a felony count of making a false report on school grounds after responding to a bomb threat complaint at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday at Madrid-Waddington Central School. He was arraigned in local court and released on his own recognignizance into the custody of his grandparents.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - COLTON - Star Lake-based state police charged Kristen L. Cole, 31, of Albany with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed her for speeding following a traffic stop at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 3 in the town of Colton.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - WAVERLY - Malone-based state police charged Anthony M. Destefano, 17, of St. Regis Falls with criminal mischief stemming from an incident reported to troopers at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday from the town of Waverly.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - Canton-based state police responded to a one-vehicle property damage accident at 8:01 p.m. Wednesday on Route 11, near Cowan Road, in the town of Canton. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Samantha Ann Bouton, 18, of Fleischmanns.
