Syracuse—Timothy John Perdue, 61, died in Syracuse on October 13th after a long illness. Services will be held Tuesday, October 15th at 2:00pm at Sacred Heart Church in Massena. The family will receive friends in the gathering room at the church entrance beginning at 1:30 pm. Tim is survived by his father, Dr. Thomas (Betty) Perdue, sisters Jane (Tom) LaClair, and Mary (Peg Kaufman), brothers Robert, and Tom (Jonathan Tran), nephews Eric (Kaori), Mark (Alison), Brian (Kate), Tommy (Vandana) and Colin LaClair, nieces Katie LaClair (Tyler Dorholt) and Riley Perdue, and great nephews Takuya and Joseph and great nieces Sayaka, Momoka, Kanami, Miyoshi, Genevieve and Marin. He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah and sisters Joanne and Ellen. Tim was born in Riverside, CA on September 24, 1952 and moved to Massena with his family in 1954. He received degrees from Cranwell Preparatory School in Lenox, MA, Syracuse University and Clarkson College. Tim worked for IBM for many years. Tim had a great sense of humor, and was always ready with a joke, or more likely a bad pun. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed learning about Italian cuisine and wine. He appreciated a wide variety of music. He was a zealous Syracuse Orange fan. He spent countless hours with his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom he loved and who loved him in return. His family and his many friends will miss him greatly. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Catholic School in Massena. Arrangements are under the care of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
