Twin Mills Farm, WoodCrest Dairy, Dirty Gringo win Kiwanis Soccer match-ups


Late season soccer exhibits the skill and new found knowledge of young athletes as a well played technical game was played between Twin Mills Farms and The Place in Kiwanis Soccer action.

Twin Mills earned a 3-2 victory as the Kiwanis Soccer Program headed into the final week of the season.

Ben LaRock scored for TMF off a dangerous corner kick from Isaac LaRock. Later, Caleb Richardson scored on a far post cross from Ben LaRock. The Place keet stride scoring twice with Trent Lovely connecting twiceoff assists from Isiah Smith and Justice McIntyre. The game-winner came from Ben LaRock drilling a free kick into the top left corner.

Rachel LaRock, Eden Lockwood and Caleb Hayden played well for TMF defensively. For The Place, Garret Holland in goal played well with the whole team working hard on defense.

Meawnile, WoodCrest Dairy and Dirty Gringo also posted recent wins.

WoodCrest Dairy def Peter’s: Hailee Farrand got her first career goal to start the scoring for WoodCrest. Tyler Gravlin added another with an assist from Abby Flack who also scored. Grace Richardson got her second goal of the year and Nate Spooner added two from the stopper position in the victory.

Jayden Carr and Micheal Bolesh also had several great chances up front and Cynthia Synder played well in the middle of the field.

The defense stepped up and played great with Mandy Walker trying her foot at defense and doing very well clearing the ball out in her first attempt. Jayden Carr and Abby Wilhelm shared time in the net for WoodCrest.

For Peter’s, Riely Hough, Sammy Duprey, and Baylen Duprey shared time in goal and on defense Hope Switzer, Trisa Ashley, Ellie Foster played very solid

Dirty Gringo 1, Jacob’s Land Surveying 0: Cooper Garvey slipped by the defense and scored for Dirty Gringo. Jacob Farley produced crisp passing with excellent defense coming from Mason Perretta, Trent Evans, and Hanna O’Reilly. Jacob’s Land Surveying received a excellent effort by the entire team.
