UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - COLTON - Canton-based state police charged Wyatt L. Cole, 17, of Colton with an unlawful possession of marijuana violation after responding to a drug complaint at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday from Colton-Pierrepont Central School.



ONE INJURED - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday on Route 68, near County Route 24, in the town of Pierrepont. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Bruce F. Duncan, 60, of South Colton.



DESIGNATED LANE VIOLATION - KNAPP STATION - Massena-based state police ticketed Tracy L. Mitchell, 42, of McGinnis Road, Waddington, for failure to use designated lane following a personal injury accident reported at 8:58 a.m. Wednesday on the Knapp Station-Stockholm Road in the town of Stockholm. Potsdam Rescue responded to the accident scene.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region Wednesday. Among those:

■ Dwayne J. Dissottle, 40, of Winthrop at 6:49 p.m. on Finnegan Road, near Route 11, in the town of Lawrence.

■ Kristen R. Cheney, 39, of Canton at 7:36 a.m. on County Route 35, near Tanner Road, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Renee A. Lepage, 24, of Brushton at 5:11 p.m. on Route 11, near County Route 17, in the town of Brushton.
