Twin Mills Farms, Dirty Gringo Jr-Sr, Bradley’s, Medicine Shoppe post Kiwanis Soccer wins


Twin Mills Farms, Little Dirty Gringo, Dirty Gringo, Bradley’s Service Station and Medicine Place all posted Kiwanis Soccer wins in the final week of the season.

Twin Mill Farms 2, Northern Auto 0: A very entertaining game was played Monday nightin the Kiwanis Junior League. Both teams played hard creating and stopping chances at both ends keeping it scoreless into the fourth quarter.

A Northern Auto goal kick was intercepted by Rachel LaRock and forwarded to Rowen Rishe who found the back of the net for the first score of the game. Then Ben LaRock lofted a shot from outside the area over the head of goalkeeper for the second goal.

Sophia Carter, Rylie Flack,Matt Walker and Jayden Williams played strong for Twin Mills Farms. For Northern Auto, Katherine Smith and Mackena Brooks played outstanding in net. Austin Latimer anchored the defense with Hanna Costello and Autum Bressett creating chances offensively.

Little Dirty Gringo 3, Hosmers 0: Chad Bruyere, Kohen Brenno, and Camden Griffith scored in the 6-7 matchup and Ava Balster, Aidan O’Neil, and Rylee Balster were cited for outstanding hustle.

Hosmers coach cited the team for playing a wonderful game.

In a previous game against GMan’s Taxi, Dirty Gringo players Brynlee Thomas, Drew Blevins, and Gwen Thomas were cited by their coach for playing a great game.

Dirty Gringo 1, Sholette’s 1: Jacob Farley scored the Dirty Gringo in the 8-9 league match. Mason Perretta, Aubrey Love, and Madison Brandy were cited for strong two-way play.

Evan Felt scored for Sholette’s as the whole team played well with great overall hustle and sportsmanship.

Medicine Place def Peter’s Beauty Salon: Drew Mills (3), Nolan O’Donnell (2), Sadie O’Neil (1), Greg Mallott (1), Connor Griffith (1), and Nick Demers (1) contributed offensively for Medicine Place as Masen LaPiene, Drew Mills, and Paige Shaver played well in goal.

Anton Skamperle, Kaleb Spears, and Gerard Powers also provided great hustle.

Peter’s Beauty Salon received great play for the entire team.

Medicine Place 6, Murray’s Flooring 0: Drew Mills (3), Connor Griffith (1), Karson LaRose (1), and Greg Mallott (1) all contributed to the victory where Masen LaPiene, Nolan O’Donnell, Karson LaRose, and Paige Shaver played well in net. Paige LaRock, Sloane Ryan, Rylee Bresett, and Alex Ortega contributed excellent two way play.

Jacob Martin played well in goal for Murray’s in goal as Aidan Murray and Bryce Lake worked hard offensively and ; Kaitlyn Sibley and Lara Martin worked hard defensively.

Bradley’s Service 2, DeFelkso’s 0: Connor Guasconi and Tyler George each scored once with Jayden Kench and Destiny Nugent each logged an assist. Noah Mallette played excellent in goal.

Emma LeBeau and Jakob Sampson played great in goal. Tristen Richardson, Todd Carroll and Isabella Ashley supplied excellent outings on both sides of the ball.
