CPH names trio as Employeesof Quarter

POTSDAM - Jennifer A. Hewey, cardiology technician; Tracy E. Jarvis, administrative assistant in Corporate Communications; and David K. Suckow, plant operations generalist; have been named Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Employees of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2013.

“These employees are three excellent selections for this honor,” said David B. Acker, FACHE, president and CEO of CPH. “Each in his or her own way exemplifies what makes CPH employees special,” he said in remarks at the formal celebration held to honor the three.

Mr. Acker highlighted Ms. Hewey’s upbeat demeanor and ability to cheer everyone around her; Ms. Jarvis’s professionalism in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive matters in representing and acting as a liaison for the hospital; and Mr. Suckow’s technical ability and dedication, noting in particular Mr. Suckow’s quick action during a gas leak several years ago.

An Employee Satisfaction Team drawn from all areas of the hospital selects Employees of the Quarter from nominations submitted by their peers and organizes the formal ceremony at which those honored receive a certificate, dish garden or bouquet, lapel pin, parking pass for a space of their choice on campus, and gift certificates from the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, First Crush Bistro, and the Potsdam Guild-operated CPH Gift Shop.
