FALSE WRITTEN STATEMENT - PIERREPONT - A Norfolk man faces additional charges stemming from a one-vehicle accident Oct. 24 in the town of Pierrepont.
Canton-based state police charged Ryan A. Kain, 23, with falsely reporting an incident and making a false written statement following further investigation into a one-vehicle accident Oct. 24 in the town of Pierrepont.
Troopers had charged Kain with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident and ticketed him for speeding, making an unsafe lane change and operation of a vehicle with an inadequate exhaust system after responding to a property damage accident complaint at 11:26 p.m. Oct. 24 in the town of Pierrepont. Troopers said the arrest was made a half hour later at 5799 Route 56.
TRESPASSING - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged Emily R. Hewitt, 21, of St. Regis Falls with trespassing and unlawful possession of marijuana after responding to a report of neighborhood trouble at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in the town of Waverly.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - ANTWERP - Watertown-based state police charged John H. Greene, 21, of Norfolk with unlawful possession of marijuana following a stop at 9:51 p.m. Thursday on Route 11 in the town of Antwerp.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police reported to a one-vehicle accident at 1:12 a.m. Friday on County Route 2, near Route 95, in the town of Bombay. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Fred A. Wilson, 33, of Moira.
