To The Editor:
On behalf of the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary I would like to shout out a big thank you to several people and businesses in our community whose generosity helped make our October Harvest Dance a success! All proceeds from the dance benefited the CHMC Auxiliary Festival of the Trees 2013. The Harvest Dance was put together in a short period of time and we could not have done it without many, many hands.Thank you to Frarys Funeral Home for their generosity in supporting the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary Festival of the Trees! We appreciate all you have done for our organization through this benefit. Thank you to Prime Time Horns from Syracuse for a great night of entertainment! We cant wait until next year! Hats off to Ogdensburg Bowl for providing the cash bar and a donation to our event.
Thank you to the following for helping with ticket sales: Community Bank, SeaComm, Kinneys, Ogdensburg Bowl, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Frarys Funeral Home, Busters and the CHMC Gift Shop. Thank you to Steve Hawes and his dietary staff at CHMC for helping with the refreshments. Everything was wonderful as always! Also I would like to thank Betty Franche and the Oddfellow members who helped out with all of our needs. Thank you to Farrands Flowers for your donation of decorations for our entrance way – very nice! A special thank you to Dave and Dawn Merz for their assistance in getting the word out through YES-FM, PAC 98.7 and Q Country. Thank you to the Ogdensburg Journal and WWNY-TV for your assistance with publicity as well.
I would personally like to thank the Auxiliary members who pitched in with set up, clean up, ticket sales, etc. All of you! Especially to our runners, who did much of the leg work, Janice Shoen and Linda Langstaff! Thank you!! As always, thank you to our community who purchased tickets in advance and at the door who are always there to support the CHMC Auxiliary! If I missed someone, I apologize in advance. See you all at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Festival of the Trees on Dec. 7.
