A webcast about a beef nutrition program inspired by World War II concentration camp survivors will be featured at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ed Robertson Farm, 3057 County Route 194, Antwerp, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County Learning Farm, 2043B Route 68, Canton. Registration will start at 6:30 p.m. Participants also may sign up to watch the webcast at home.

Ted Perry, marketing beef nutritionist with Land O’Lakes Purina Feed, Kansas City, Kan., will explain how a human health study of war survivors has led to a new beef cattle feeding program designed to encourage the in-utero nutrition of calves.

In Jefferson County, register in advance by calling 788-8450; for St. Lawrence County, call 379-9192. For more information, visit http://wdt.me/XTnwgN.
