Denver tops Saints in touch football

Denver handed the Saints their first loss in recebt action from the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club’s Senior Touch Football League.

Denver 133 - Saints 112: Justin McCormick, Trent Menard, Trent Sargent and Connor Badlam all had multiple touchdowns to knock off the undefeated Saints. The Saints were led by Mesean Johnson(4 tds), Anthony Pope(3 td’s) and Marcus Johnson (2 TDS).

Patriots 84 - 49ers 49: The LaRose brothers Kinnon and Brogan had 8Td’s combined and Mecci Johnson had 3 interceptions to give the Patriots their second win.

Garrett Zaulauf, Mitchell Brenno, Nate King, Cooper Hunter and Austin Lemay all played well for San Fran.

Players Of The Week:Offensive: Mesean Johnson and Harry Powers, Defensive: Noah Strader and Anthony Pope and Sportsmanship: Michael Reed and Amanda Self

The OBGC will hold its annual Kids 2 0n 2 Whiffleball Tourney on monday starting at 9 a.m.Teams are still being accepted.
