ROBBERY - MASSENA - Village police charged Cory A. Courson, 25, of 24 Roosevelt St., Massena, with third-degree robbery at 8:42 p.m. Thursday on Roosevelt Street. An arrest warrant had been signed stemming from an investigation into an incident that occurred outside the Bowlmor on Dec. 20. He reportedly pulled Jacob Losey out of his truck, threw him to the ground and then slammed his body on thr ground several times. He reportedly stole Mr. Losey’s wallet, which contained $30, cell phone and hat. Courson was upset with him because he was friends with his wife, Chantelle, Mr. Losey told police. He also noted Courson had sent him several messages on Facebook threatening to burn his house if he kept hanging out with Chantelle.

PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Bradley M. Deshaies, 23, of 4872 County Route 14, Madrid with petit larceny at 8:08 p.m. Thursday stemming from an investigation into a shoplifting incident at 7:58 p.m. Nov. 10 at Walmart. Deshaies allegedly walked out of the store without paying for two shirts, valued at $22.50.

BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Kaitlynn J. Mousaw, 2, of 10 Dodge St., Massena, on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court as directed on a pending trespassing count. She had been charged with trespassing at 8 Dodge St. on June 16.
