Saints win senior touch football title


The Saints emerged triumphant as the playoff champions of the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club’s Senior Touch Football lead.

Following the game three individual awards were present: Offensive MVP - Peyton Lalone, Defensive MVP Trent Menard and Outstanding Sportsmanship Awards - Michael Reed and Burklei Dupree.

Saints 126 - Broncos 119: Marcus Johnson’s touchdown with three seconds left gave the Saints a much deserved championship. Also contributing to the win were Peyton Lalone, Michael Reed, and Anthony Pope all with 3 touchdown catches. Led by Burklei Dupree and Cale Sargent’s combined 14 TDs, the Broncos gave the saints all they could handle.

Broncos 161 - Patriots 112: The Broncos, led by touchdowns from Trent Menard, Cale Sargent, Justin McCormick and Burkllei Dupree; knocked off the Patriots to make the finals. Kinnon LaRose had a game high 10 TDs and Tristan lovely also caught 5 TDs to keep New England close.

Saints 140.. 49ers 70: Peyton Lalone, Marcus Johnson, Anthony Pope and Amanda Self all had multiple td catches to lead the Saints to the finals. The 49ers, missing key players played very hard led, by Cooper Hunter, Noah Strader and Trent Sargent.
