St. Lawrence University's men's soccer team produced its most dominant outing of the season Sunday, routing Wheaton (Mass.) 8-0 in a second-round game of the NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament.

The 15th-ranked Saints (17-2-2) are now likely heading to No. 5 Amherst for a sweet sixteen contest sometime next weekend and are two wins from reaching the third final four in school history. SLU won the national title in 1999.

SLU, which scored only nine goals all year in the first half prior to Sunday, tallied five first-half goals against the Lyons (17-6).
