Ogdensburg police have released a photograph of a suspect in their investigation of two burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of Nov. 12.
The photograph is of a balding man bent over a hole in a wooded area. The bottom right corner of the image reads 11-12-2013 22:38, indicating the photograph was taken or downloaded on Nov. 12 at 10:38 p.m.
Detective Sgt. Robert H. Wescott declined Monday to provide further details.
Im not going to comment on the photograph other than its a photograph of the suspect, he said.
At 1:34 a.m. on Nov. 12, police responded to an alarm call at Hosmers Marina, 54 East River St. Entry was made by smashing the glass out of a door. Once inside, the alarm sounded. A cash drawer with a quantity of cash and change was taken.
The second reported burglary was discovered by police at 3:34 a.m. at Bradleys Service Station, 424 New York Ave. It is not believed anything was taken.
Entry was also gained by smashing the glass out of the entry door.
