K Of C Thanksgiving Dinner Is Thursday

The Msgr. A.D. Charbonneau Council 258 Knights of Columbus will again host its free community Thanksgiving dinner Thursday at the club Rooms, 721 Hasbrouck St.

Dinner is from noon until all are served, and the doors open at 11:30 a.m. Knights and other community volunteers are needed to provide transportation to the event.

To offer your services as a volunteer driver or server, please call the Club Rooms at 393-7990.

To make reservations and to arrange for transportation, if needed, call the Knights Hall at 393-7990 after 4 p.m. any day.

Deliveries will be made to “shut-ins,” as the focus of the day is community spirit and friends getting together at the club rooms. Everyone is encouraged to come to the hall if possible and share this festive day with friends and neighbors.

Volunteers are also appreciated on Thanksgiving Day to help serve.

The Knights usually need about 30 helpers.

Monetary donations and donations of food stuffs such as canned cranberries and stuffing are also most appreciated. Mail your checks to the Knights of Columbus Thanksgiving Dinner at 721 Hasbrouck Street, Ogdensburg, NY. 13669 Attn: PGK Harry Lucchetti. And drop food stuffs off between 4 and 8 p.m.

Donations of desserts are also most welcome and should be dropped off at the Club Rooms this evening or the morning of Thanksgiving.
