UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Brandon R. Thompson, 26, of Cornwall, Ont., with unlawful possession of marijuana and a violation of the executive law prohibiting travel after he was turned over to troopers by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers following a secondary inspection at the port of entry in Rooseveltown.



ONE INJURED - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police said one person was injured following an accident at 8:53 a.m. Saturday on County Route 1, near Kelly Road, in the town of Fort Covington. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Frederick M. Daniels, 40, of Bombay and Sally Ann Roberts, 61, of Fort Covington.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - State police investigated several property damage accidents around the region on Saturday. Among those:

■ Danielle L. Gray, 41, of Potsdam and Randy J. Miller, 52, of Potsdam at 1:30 p.m. in the Potsdam Walmart parking lot.
