The travel advisories in place since Saturday night due to the weekends ice storm have been lifted.
At 2:41 p.m., the Lewis County Sheriffs Office rescinded the county-wide advisory. Travel restrictions in St. Lawrence County will be lifted at 6:00 p.m.
Though the travel advisory is no longer in effect, the State of Emergency in St. Lawrence County is still in effect. It is also still in effect in Jefferson County as of shortly before 5 p.m.
The sheriffs offices still strongly suggest people minimize travel and prepare for hazardous road conditions.
