Gregory S. Binion, 49, of 15575 County Route 156, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and other counts after being stopped by city police.
After allegedly failing to dim his high-beam headlights, Mr. Binon was pulled over in the 900 block of State Street. Officers reported that his blood alcohol content was 0.20 percent. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication; aggravated DWI is charged when a BAC is over 0.18 percent.
Due to a previous conviction for DWI in December 2011, Mr. Binion was charged with a felony. He was processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released. He will face the charges in City Court.
