AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT - POTSDAM - St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Department deputies charged Gary R. Crosbie, 50, of 223 East Hatfield St., Apt. 3, Massena, with second-degree aggravated harassment at 4 p.m. Tuesday on Clarkson Avenue in the village of Potsdam. Deputies said the charge stemmed from a complant that he had made unwanted harassing phone calls to a female. He was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court and released to reappear at a later date, according to the sheriffs department.
Massena-based state police had charged Crosbiewith fourth-degree stalking and two felony counts of first-degree criminal contempt in early December. Crosbie allegedly violated a St. Lawrence County Family Court order of protection directing him to stay away from Michelle Crosbie. He reportedly made several phone calls and followed her when she was driving while he was operating his mothers vehicle.
