Funeral services for Blanche Morley, age 76, of Ogdensburg, will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral with the Rev. Scott Belina officiating. Burial will be St. Mary’s Cemetery in the Spring. Calling hours will be held at Frary Funeral Home on 515 Caroline Street on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM. Mrs. Morley passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

She is survived by her children, Debra Brien, Denise LaFlair and her husband, Bruce, Robert Brien and his companion, Dennis, Patrick Brien and his wife, Tina and David Morley; a sister, Dorothy Haggart of Ogdensburg; two brothers, Benton Rolfe and James Rolfe; a half-brother, John Rolfe of Arkansas; a half sister, Martha Williamson; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a daughter, Becky Morley; two sisters, Josphine Menard and Helena Mashaw and a half-brother, Harold Rolfe.

She was born on April 7, 1937, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of John and Rosella Deir Rolfe. She attended local schools. She married David Morley on September 17, 1970. Mr. Morley passed away in 1989.

She enjoyed watching old movies, gardening, spending time with her friends and family, and liked feeding the neighborhood cats.

Donations may be made in her memory to the St. Lawrence Valley Chapter of the SPCA.
