DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Abraham J. Thomas, 24, of 80 Kateri St., St. Regis, Que., with disorderly conduct at 2:20 a.m. Sunday after responding to fight complaint at the Hotel Nadeau, Andrews Street. Police said when they arrived at the establishment they found Thomas, whose birthday was Saturday, was fighting with his brother. The two brothers were separated and told to leave the area. But they said a short time later they heard a commotion in the parking and the brothers were again told to leave the area. Thomas reportedly refused and instead allegedly walked toward the police officer and told him to go home.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Holly L. Snyder, 32, of Linden Street, Massena, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 11:24 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on McCluskey Avenue.

FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Allen Watson, 25, of Pine Street, Massena, for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign at 12:07 a.m. Sunday on Center Street at Liberty Avenue.

INADEQUATE HEADLIGHTS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Ashley R. Courson, 24, of Norwood for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights at 5:12 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Main Street.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed a number of people for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following traffic stops on Saturday.

■ Donald W. Emerson, 75, of Elgin Avenue, Massena, at 2:45 p.m. on Baldwin Avenue.

■ Robert A. James, 27, of East Orvis Street, Massena, at 2:22 p.m. on Willow Street. He was also ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

■ Barbara Drake Ellis, 52, of North Raquette River Road, Massena, at 12:38 p.m. on the Center Street Extension.

■ Diane M. Laurion-Smith, 58, of state Route 131, Massena, at 9:24 a.m. on Maple Street.
