After dropping a pair of 3-2 games at Colgate and Cornell last weekend the Golden Knights return home to face Rensselaer and Union this weekend.
Clarkson (15-9-2 overall, 8-4 conference) will have a strange weekend after a postgame brawl in Albany last Saturday night left both RPI and Union somewhat depleted.
The fight started shortly after RPI's 2-1 win over Union, which was not a conference game but instead a game played at Albany's Times Union Center for the Mayor's Cup
Several suspensions were announced by the ECAC Hockey office this week in addition to several players who were given game disqualifications that night.
Clarkson will not see either Union coach Rick Bennett or RPI coach Seth Appert this weekend. Appert was suspended for Friday's game at Cheel Arena and Bennett will miss four games. Originally Bennett was only suspended for two games, by Union College, and Appert had received none. The additional suspensions were announced Wednesday afternoon.

For Friday's game with Clarkson RPI will be missing four players, including leading scorer Ryan Haggerty (19 goals-11 assists). Also out will be former Clarkson player Steve Zalewski's younger brother Mike, as well as Luke Curadi and Bo Dolan.
Union will be missing defenseman Mat Bodie for Saturday's game, as he earned a two-game suspension.
