St. Lawrence Central survived in overtime to Gouverneur 50-43 while Massena and Hermon-DeKalb posted girls basketball wins Saturday.

SLC 50, Gouverneur 43: Rebecca Bulsiewicz lifted Gouverneur into overtime scoring with three seconds left on a shot inside to tie it at 41-41.

Lindsey Thayer led all scorers with 21 points for SLC. Morgan Greer added 10 while Chelsea Savage added eight. For the Wildcats Bulsiewicz tallied 15 points.

Massena 53, Potsdam 39: Samanntha Villnave tossed in 13 points and Jaylee Jones and Bailey Young each scored 12 for the Raiders. Jessica Rode also scored 10. Sarah Vilvamore tallied 15 points leading all scorers for Potsdam.

INTER-DIVISIONAL

H-D 81, P-H 14: Hunter Hitchman delivered 30 points hitting five three’s to go with eight rebounds, five assists and four steals for the 13-1 Demons. Courtney Harrington delivered 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals while Morgan Stott added 14 points, six steals, three steals and three assists. Paige Whitton added two three’s in a 10 point, four rebounds, three assist and two steal effort while Bridget Rust (7 rebounds, 7steals, three assists, 2 points), Kasey O’Donnell (six assists, five rebounds, four steals) and Chelsea Mackay (six rebounds, four steals, two points) rounded ouf tthe win. Nicole White scored six and Miranda Collins added four for P-H (4-8).

Watertown IHC 53, Harrisville 28: Anna Garrabrant dropped 20 points including four three’s and Jaid Baytos tallied 16 points for IHCGeorgi Baker tallied eight for Harrisville.
