City police arrested a Rochester man Sunday night and charged him with violating a stay-away order of protection.
Quinnton M. Dubois, 27, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. at the Rodeway Inn, 652 Arsenal St., and charged with second-degree criminal contempt. According to police, he was knowingly in the same hotel room as Michaela A. Grant, of Syracuse, despite the order of protection, which was issued out of town of Amherst court.
He was transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $200 cash bail pending arraignment in City Court.
