The Bears fought back from a 1-0 deficit as Mike Huber answered Kody Kocsiss goal 29 seconds into the first period at 11:10 unassisted.
Canton took a 2-1 lead on a goal from Cole Moore at 1:29 of the second assisted by Mark Mahoney and Zach James. Cody Moore gave the Bears a 3-1 lead at 2:21 of the third shorthanded. Nathan Stickney cut the deficit to 3-2 for St. Lawrence at 8:28. Jon Stone stopped 27 shots for Canton (8-7-1, 6-2-1 NAC). Nick Burnett made 22 saves for St. Lawrence Central (10-6-1, 6-4-1). In one other game the Potsdam shaded the Islanders 4-3.
