CANTON — Jeremy Wick scored three goals to spark St. Lawrence University past Princeton, 5-0 on Saturday night in an ECAC Hockey game at Appleton Arena.

Matt Weninger made 14 saves to record the shutout for the Saints (13-17-4, 7-11-4), who finish in eighth place in the league and will host a first-round playoff series for the third consecutive year.

Kyle Essery also scored for St. Lawrence and Gavin Bayreuther contributed a goal and two assists.

The Saints will host Brown in a best-of-three playoff series beginning Friday.

The last-place Tigers (5-24, 4-18) will play at Clarkson in the first round of the playoffs.
