In front, from left: Dorothy Williams, Helen Greenman, Delos Otis, Mildred Reeves, Katherine Buchholz and Helen Hyland. In back: Gordon W. Bryant, Stewart Thompson, Frederic Calkins, Harry Hubbard and Lyle Dowdell. In 1916 Gordon Bryant was hired by the Watertown Daily Times as an office boy. Over six decades, he was a reporter, sports editor, telegraph editor, city editor and finally executive editor. He was 84 when he died in June 1984.
