ASSAULT - MASSENA - Village police charged Dylan Nevin, 19, of 148 Cook St., Massena, with third-degree assault at 1:20 a.m. Saturday on Andrews Street. He reportedly struck Crystal Douglas during an altercation.



BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Melissa B. Wheeler, 27, of 500 County Route 8, Brushton, on a bench warrant alleging a violation of probation at 10:30 p.m. Friday. She was arraigned by Norfolk Town Justice Donald Lustyik and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Kyle A. Griffin, 28, of 163 Hopson Road, Brasher Falls, with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal mischief - preventing an emergency phone call at 10:05 p.m. Friday following a domestic dispute at 118 Maple Street. He reportedly pushed Leslie Robinson and broke the glass in the back door during a dispute over money, police said.



PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Kierra T. Thompson, 18, of 116 Indian Village, Akwesasne, and Raymond W. Purlee, 16, of 48 Laughing Road, Hogansburg, with petit larceny at 7:35 p.m. Friday after responding to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart. Thompson and Purlee allegedly walked past the store’s last point of sale without paying for an I-phone charge valued at $29.88.



GRAND LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Timothy D. Alguire Jr., 34, of 95 South Grasse River Road, Massena, with fourth-degree grand larceny Friday afternoon after he allegedly stole a Ruger SR 556 A-15, owned by his father, from 345 Center St.



BRAKE LIGHT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Elizabeth A. Browning, 54, of 2 Victory Road, Massena, for a brake light violation at 5:27 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on West Hatfield Street.
