The Frederic Remington Art Museum announces the winners of the Frederic Remington’s April Fool’s Day Ball raffle.

On April 1, the Museum held the biggest non-event of the season. In preparation, invitations had been mailed out encouraging donations, but asking donors not to attend the April Fool’s Day Ball. As a result of widespread support and generosity this year’s annual April Fool’s Day raised $3,550 in support of Education and our Kid’s Place.

For every $25 contributed, donors were entered in a raffle of four prizes. The winners are as follows: Nancy Skelly won a small reproduction of The Broncho Buster (a $575 value); Gus Murray won a Frederic Remington canvas print; Ben Nichols won the book the 2nd edition of Icons of the West: Frederic Remington’s Sculpture, by Michael D. Greenbaum (a $89.95 value); and Steven Denny won a one year Pioneer membership to the Frederic Remington Art Museum. Let us know, and we’ll be glad to invite you to next year’s non-event.

The Frederic Remington Art Museum is located at 303 Washington St. The Museum is dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, preserving and interpreting the art and archives of Frederic Remington, and contains an unmatched collection of his works. The museum is open October 15 through May 15, Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. and May 16 - October 14, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
