MEXICOA West Monroe teen was arrested Thursday afternoon after state police said he pointed a nail gun at other students and shot nails at them.
Derick W. Powell, 17, of 37 Potter Road, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment.
Mr. Powell allegedly shot the nails while he was in class at the Oswego County Board of Cooperative Educational Services, 179 County Route 64, at 1:22 p.m. March 18.
No one was injured.
In addition to the charge, he was suspended from school for five days, police said.
He was arrested at the state police barracks in Pulaski at 3:34 p.m. and issued an appearance ticket to Town Court.
