Harriette M. Paro, 95, of Ogdensburg, died on April 12, 2014, at the Riverledge Health Care Facility, Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg is entrusted with arrangements. Calling hours will be Monday, April 21, 2 -4 and 7 -9 PM, at 7:30 PM there will be an Oddfellows and Rebekahs service. The funeral service will be April 22, 10:30 am at the funeral home, Pastor David Hart officiating, burial will follow in South Edwards Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Evelyn) McWilliams, Ogdensburg, Carlton (Ann) McWilliams, The Villages, FL, daughters, Marie (Edward) Sovie, Ogdensburg, Donelda (Wayne) Drosky, Buergen, NY, Dixie (Duane) Adams, Ogdensburg, 24 grand children, several great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Melvin, Henry and Worden Bray, sisters, Ella Nichols and Rose Cooper. Harriette was born in Edwards, on October 29, 1918, the daughter of Melvin and Hattie Coloney Lake. She married Russell H. McWilliams on November 16, 1934, he died on July 23, 1971, she then married Albert Paro in 1987, and he predeceased her. She was a clothing room clerk at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center. Harriette was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ogdensburg, the Order of Eastern Star in Heuvelton, Senior Citizens in Ogdensburg, Seaway Lodge #41 IOOF, and Rebekah Lodge #129 IOOF.
