The Cancer Services Program and Diabetes Prevention Program pampered for their medical providers staff on March 31.
Guests nibbled tasty treats, sipped on fun mocktails, put their feet up, relaxed with manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, and won door prizes donated by our fine vendors.
The Cancer Services Program of St. Lawrence County, funded through NYS Department of Health, serves individuals who either have no insurance or are underinsured. Eligible participants are provided with free breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screenings. The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is funded through the NYS Office of Rural Health. This free lifestyle modification program is open to adults diagnosed as pre-diabetic and/ or those considered at high risk for pre-diabetes.
