Elise M. Stefanik, one of the Republican candidates running for the 21st Congressional District seat, will be making three campaign stops in Watertown today.
n 2 p.m. Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency, 800 Starbuck Ave.
n 3:30 p.m. City of Watertown Fire Department, 224 South Massey St.
n 6 p.m. Meet and greet at the Italian American Civic Association, 192 Bellew Ave.
Ms. Stefanik worked in the White House from 2006 to 2009 on the Domestic Policy Council staff and in the Chief of staffs office, where she worked on economic and domestic policy issues. She also worked as policy director on Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlentys presidential campaign, policy director of the 2012 Republican National Platform and director of debate prep for Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan.
She graduated from Harvard University and works as a sales representative at her familys business, Premium Plywood Products, an Albany-based distributor with an office in Willsboro.
She will face Matthew A. Doheny, an investment fund manager from Watertown, in a primary on June 24.
