SPCA Offers Rabies Clinics


Freddie, a black and cream-colored,male cocker spaniel-poodle mix, and Gino, a medium-length hair,gray, male juvenile cat, are currently available for adoption at the St. Lawrence Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

You can learn more about them and the other cats and dogs currently residing at the shelter by telephoning the SPCA at 393-5191, visiting the shelter on Tuesday through Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., visiting the SPCA website at

THIS WEEK’S ADOPTION TIP: Don’t worry about paperwork or home checks. Rescue groups are trying to find the best home for this particular animal. Be honest and open with them.
