STALKING - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Tyler A. Valdez, 16, of Massena with third-degree stalking - multiple persons and third-degree obscenity Saturday following an investigation into an obscenity complaint filed with troopers on March 26 from the town of Massena.

Troopers said Valdez left vulgar voices mails on several adult females’ phones and also texted them photographs of intimate body parts on numerous occasions between January 2013 and January 2014.

BURGLARY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Isaiah J. Brothers, 28, of Buckton Road, Winthrop, with second-degree burglary and petit larceny Saturday afternoon following an investigation into a burglary complaint received at 4:30 a.m. that morning from the town of Hopkinton. He was also charged with petit larceny. Brothers was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000. Troopers said the arrest was made on state Route 11C in the town of Stockholm.

Brothers allegedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s home on the Days Mill Road, entered the residence, poured bleach on the couch, jammed the toilet and broke several pieces of furniture. The alleged victim told troopers she had seen Brothers earlier that evening at the Gandy Dancer, Norwood, and he was upset because she wouldn’t talk to him.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Joseph J. Eckert, 22, of Honeoye Falls with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for having an obstructed view for having illegal stickers on his windshield and rear window at 3:45 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Route 11 in the town of Potsdam.

HARASSMENT - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Gregory J. Arquette, 40, of Lisbon that was with second-degree harassment Saturday following an investigation into an incident that was reported to troopers on May 1. The arrest was made early Saturday evening at 72 Church St., Apt. 2C.

PRISON CONTRABAND - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Steven M. Hopps, 41, of Massena for first-degree possession of dangerous prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 7:55 a.m. Saturday at the Franklin County Jail. Bail was set at $2,500 cash on the new charges.

BURGLARY - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Cynthia A. Whippia, 39, of Moira with third-degree burglary stemming from a complaint filed with troopers at 4:30 p.m. Saturday from the town of Moira. The arrest was made two hours later at 305 Macauslin Road, Moira.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Thomas C. Wilcox, 27, of St. Regis Falls with a felony count of first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment Saturday afternoon following an investigation into a domestic dispute complaint filed with troopers on May 5 from the town of Malone.
