WATERTOWN — City police charged Sophia M. Haddad, 20, of 207 Wealtha Ave., Apt. 658B, with third-degree criminal mischief after she allegedly vandalized a car.

Police said Ms. Haddad took a sharp object and scratched the driver’s side of a Ford Taurus owned by Angela Zaremba, of Watertown, causing more than $250 in damage.

Charged at 1:24 a.m. on the 300 block of Arsenal Street, Ms. Haddad later was released with an appearance ticket for City Court.
