Mario Cristaldi, incoming American Legion 4th District Commander, endorsed Matthew A. Dohney for Congress Friday.
Mr. Cristaldi, a 29 year veteran who served in Iraq, will assume the post July 1.
“Matt Doheny understands the needs of our veterans and will be the strong advocate for the Fabulous 4th in Washington. Whether it’s improving access to health care or establishing an on the ground resource for veterans, Matt Doheny will be a voice for the issues we care about,” he said in a news release.
The American Legion 4th District covers St. Lawrence, Franklin, Essex, Clinton, Hamilton, Fulton, Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties.
