WATERTOWN — Two men have been named in indictments, unsealed Thursday in Jefferson County Court, alleging they participated in a robbery in 2012 in which marijuana and other items were stolen.

Antonio D. Beale, 25, of 104 Warren St., Brownville, and Shimon B. Walker, 27, of 31681 County Route 193, Black River, each are charged with single counts of first-degree robbery, first-degree criminal use of a firearm, third-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, as well as two counts of second-degree robbery and three counts each of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

It is alleged that on Oct. 12, 2012, the pair, with others, entered an unspecified Black River residence and forcibly stole marijuana and more than $3,000 worth of personal property from unidentified victims while threatening the people with a handgun.

It further is alleged that on the same day, both stole a phone, wallet and other property from Kendy Phommavong, Michael Parsaud and Johnathan O’Riley.

Mr. Beale and Mr. Walker were arraigned in County Court and entered not-guilty pleas to the charges. Both were ordered held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $20,000 bail.
