MORLEY — The Morley Community Summer Festival will feature a series of open houses and tours at the historic buildings in the Hamlet of Morley.

On August 23 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. festival-goers will have the opportunity to visit the historic Trinity Chapel, the Harison-Morley Grist Mill and the Morley Library.

At the Chapel, self-guided tours of the Morley Cemetery will be offered as well as a performance at 1 p.m. by the Noteworthy Handbell Choir.

The Morley History Group will have a display of old Morley photos and other materials from their collection at the Morley Library.

Down the hill on the banks of the Grasse River, the newly reorganized Harison-Morley Grist Mill group will offer tours of the Grist Mill, along with demonstrations, displays and other activities.

For more information about any of the tours, email ptdom1@verizon.net or call 379-9863
